He is also a USA Triathlon level 1 coach.ĭr. Kollmann has qualified and ran the Boston Marathon twice. An accomplished Ironman, Kollmann competed in Ironman events in Lake Placid, Arizona, Louisville, and Cozumel. Kollmann treat athletes at various events, but he is an avid triathlete and competitor. He has also been treating as part of the PGA Sports Medicine Team since 2007. Kollmann has been one of the Team Chiropractors for the Carolina Panthers since 2011. Kollmann is also a Level III Medical Provider with Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST).ĭr. Building on a broad base of knowledge, he is certified in both acupuncture and dry needle specializations. Kollmann has the distinction as a Performance Enhancement Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) which provides advanced skills to evaluate human movement. He is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Kollmann has advanced training in treating soft tissue injuries, including full body certification in Active Release Technique (ART) and Graston Technique. He earned his Master’s Degree in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from the California University of Pennsylvania as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University.ĭr.
